Your credit card details are required to guarantee the reservation; however, no charge will be made at the time of booking (*excluding prepaid offers). Reservations cancelled outside of cancellation policy will incur a penalty equivalent to a one night’s stay which will be deducted from the credit card provided at the time of booking.
The property reserves the right to pre-authorise cards prior to arrival. Should the card decline, they also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking within the cancellation policy.
Group bookings may have different cancellation policies depending on the contractual agreements for each individual group with the Hotel
Cash payments are welcome in our hotel. If you choose to pay in cash upon arrival, a security deposit in the form of cash or a preauthorisation on a credit or debit card may be requested, along with photo id.
To cancel your hotel booking, contact the company your stay was booked with or contact the hotel direct BY 2PM LOCAL TIME THE DAY PRIOR ARRIVAL. Failure to do so will result in an amount equal to the value of the first night’s accommodation being charged to compensate the hotel for its loss of earnings (‘the Cancellation Fee’). Deposits paid by the guest will be applied against the Cancellation Fee owing.
In the event of a guests non-arrival (no-show), an amount equal to the value of the first night’s accommodation charge will be applied to the credit card that was used to guarantee the booking or billed backed to the company where credit facilities are established to compensate the hotel for its loss of earnings (‘the Cancellation Fee’). Deposits paid by the guest will be applied against the Cancellation Fee owing.
Child rates apply to children 2-12 years when sharing with adults. Infants under 2 years stay free of charge. Cots are available on request but cannot be guaranteed.
Any special instructions you have submitted with your booking should relate to your reservation and are likely to be addressed on the day of your arrival. If you have any more pressing requests we would suggest you contact the hotel directly by email or phone.

Our right to cancel your reservation
Brogans Hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservation, regardless of whether a confirmation email has been received by you, up to 3.00pm on the date which is seven calendar days before the reservation is due to commence.
Damage and loss
Brogans Hotel reserves the right to charge guests for the cost of rectifying or cleaning any damage which has been caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless acts of guests to the hotel’s property or structure. This right to charge will also apply to loss of earnings and/or profit where the damage is of such a nature that the room is unable to be let to other guests. This right to charge will also apply where any item from the hotel room is removed or lost.
Brogans Hotel operates a strict no smoking policy in their premises. Guests shall be liable for any costs, loss of earnings and/or profit or damage to a hotel room, premises or property, arising from failure to comply with this policy and O’Callaghan Collection reserves the right to charge a specialist cleaning fee to any guest who violates the non-smoking policy.
Brogans Hotel does not have a car park, there is a close car park that is operated and maintained by a third party private company which is independent of Brogans Hotel. Brogans Hotel offers no warranty of any kind nor any indemnity as to the protection or safety of any vehicle left in the car park, or any goods left within any vehicle parked there. This Car Park is currently free entry and has a 2€ exit fee. It is located behind the James Griffin Pub.
