We stayed at Brogran's for 3 nights....the last leg of our 15 day trip to Ireland. We could not have picked a better place to end our trip. First off, the rooms are small but very clean. Our's overlooked their outdoor courtyard. If you are super sensitive to late night noise don't come here. Brogans has live music every night in either the restaurant or the bar. People will bring their drinks outside to smoke or get some air. If you want to go to bed at 11:00 stay away.
We had a great time. We watched the end of the Master's in the bar, we listened ( and sang) with the local musicians every night....and best of all....when we were done we simply walked up stairs to our rooms. Trim doesn't get a lot of tourists like Galway and Dublin so you get to experience how the locals like to party.
Every night came with a full breakfast the next day and the location can't be beat. We will be back!
Ate here numerous times and we've never had a complaint about the food or staff. Prices are so reasonable and there's such a cosy and enjoyable atmosphere in the restaurant. The main reason for my review is the last time we visited the kitchen was extremely slow. We waited 45 minutes just for chicken wings. As we love this spot I don't want the waiting time turn us off eating here again.
Stayed in Brogans guest house with my wife on a Friday night. Upon arrival we were checked into a nice double bedroom overlooking the courtyard. The room itself was clean and spacious.
We decided we would have dinner in the bar and were both happy we did. The service was very good and the food was perfect.
After the food we moved into the front bar without realising that there was a two piece band on later that night. We were delighted with this as they were very good and the atmosphere was great.
We had a very comfortable nights sleep and next morning had a very nice breakfast to start our day.
All in all, can wait to return.
First ate in Brogans at a family gathering and could not wait to return to sample the menu again. Was not dissapointed on the second visit. Food is amazing. Staff are friendly. Service is on point. A great selection on the menu...even pleased our very fussy kids. Music had started as we were leaving and there was a great atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Fab pub 5 mins from Trim Castle..friendly staff all 3 days we were there, food was lovely, well priced and big portions too..comfy seats and a cosy bar with good gin..Don Baker does an intimate gig every Weds and as usual he was brilliant!!!! Safe Parking across the road £2 for 24hrs..well worth a visit for a few hours if you're in the area..join their FB page to see who is gigging and when
My wife an I went here for a drink or two after dinner last Wednesday and we were so glad we did! The live music by Glen Baker was exceptional, really top class. It's a very friendly bar, good beer.
The only problem is we stayed too long and regretted it the next morning!
We'll be back.
Had a fantastic lunch in Brogan’s they were very busy with bookings but this had no impact on our lunch. Lovely relaxing surroundings whilst the food was well presented and of a high standard. A nice menu with lots of choices.
A good place to get a soup of the day or a burger. Friendly staff and warm hospitality. Shirley was the best and the service is OUTSTANDING. Brogan's is family friendly and catered to our 3 year old son. Try any one of their burgers.
